Educational Qualification

Candidates who passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2021, 2022 OR Appeared in 2023.

Candidates who passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2020 or before as well as those who
will appear in such examination in 2024 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2023.

Subjects

Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology as an optional subject for Paper 1 (B.Tech.)

Candidates must have finished class 12 with requisite subjects of physics, mathematics, and chemistry for Papers 2A and 2B

Age Limit

There is no age limit for JEE Main 2023 exam

Candidates should check the age limit of the institution they will be taking admission into.

Number of Attempts

Candidates will get only two attempts in the JEE Main 2023 exam.

Candidates can take the exam three times in a row.
